Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan is the driving force behind Transworld Group. A graduate in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, he has over 30 years of extensive entrepreneurial experience, handling all facets of running shipping and allied businesses in the Indian subcontinent. He was awarded ‘The Marine Personality of the Year’ in 2011 and named ‘Indian CEO of the Year’ in 2012. He is recognised by Forbes as a top Indian leader in the Middle East.
A member of the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers, Geeta joined the group in 1989. She is an experienced Personnel Practitioner with a comprehensive understanding of Human Capital Management from the School of Industrial and Labour Relations, Cornell University, New York. She is responsible for building a successful Human Capital Management function at Transworld, and oversees the daily activities and initiatives to help strengthen employees’ role in the company.
Ritesh Ramakrishnan graduated from Purdue University, United States with a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and a double minor in communication and finance in 2009. Ritesh Ramakrishnan was announced as the Face of the Future in the IMA or India Maritime Awards held in June 2018. He was also titled as Top India Leader: The Next Generation 2017 and 2018 by Forbes, Middle East. Also, he was honoured as Global Next Generation Business Leader by the Lloyd list in 2015.
Ms. Anisha spearheads Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Transworld Group and is the CEO of Wami Capital, Transworld’s family office. With a rich background in finance and a strong commitment to the principles that define the family’s legacy, Anisha brings strategic foresight to managing the wealth and ensuring its continuity. Additionally, Anisha plays a pivotal role in overseeing the CSR initiatives of Transworld, where the passion for making a positive impact on society is evident through innovative and sustainable philanthropic endeavors. Her leadership serves as a shining example of the Transworld family’s dedication to both financial excellence and social responsibility. Anisha holds a Master’s in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, London, and a Bachelor’s in International Affairs with minors in Business Administration and Global Social Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University, Boston. She has also completed a program in Big Data Analytics from Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and continues to strive for excellence in all her endeavors, with a vision for a brighter future for both the Transworld family and society at large.
